About the Role
The VP, Channel & Platform Partner Operations is the operating authority for how FOX One engages with its channel distribution partners. This leader owns the end-to-end channel and operating model, collaborates on product strategy, and ensures execution across all distribution partners. The role serves as the accountable front door for channel partners and sets the standard for cross-functional engagement, including Growth, Marketing, Content & Merchandising, Analytics, and FOX Corp Distribution. This is a builder and standard-setter role, focused on turning partner agreements into measurable outcomes while scaling operations as new partners come online.
Responsibilities
- Own the partner relationship and operating model, serving as the single, accountable front door across the channel portfolio (Amazon Prime Video Channels, Roku Premium Subscriptions, YouTube Primetime Channels, and new partners).
- Set and synthesize cross-team priorities to ensure every partner receives one coordinated FOX One voice, rather than fragmented communications.
- Own business priorities across a matrixed organization, including partner health, performance scorecards, operating cadence, and business reviews.
- Orchestrate delivery across teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Growth, and Content & Merchandising) to turn partner agreements into shipped outcomes.
- Launch new partners, owning onboarding and go-live readiness while scaling the operating model for each new addition.
- Resolve cross-lane conflicts on platform-related decisions and communications, escalating to senior leadership only when necessary.
- Build and lead the Channel & Platform Partner Operations team, setting the bar for how the function works and scales.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (VP level) leading partner operations, distribution, or platform and channel management within a direct-to-consumer, streaming, subscription, or platform-based business.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex platform, OEM, or channel partnerships, both operationally and relationally.
- Proven track record setting operating models and rules of engagement across a matrixed organization, aligning Business Development, Distribution, Product, Marketing, and Growth teams.
- Deep fluency in streaming operations, including partner launches, quality of experience, merchandising, offers, entitlements, and cross-platform delivery (CTV, mobile, web).
- Executive presence to represent FOX One to senior partner counterparts and FOX leadership.
- Judgment to balance ownership and sequencing without hindering necessary partner access.
- Regular on-site attendance and travel as needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching or scaling new channel and platform partnerships in a multi-channel streaming or subscription business.
- Established relationships across major CTV and platform partners.
- Background bridging commercial and operational partnership functions.
- Familiarity with media, sports, or entertainment ecosystems.
