Job Overview
The VP of Ambulatory Operations is the physician leader accountable for daily fulfillment of JMMG’s ambulatory staffing operation and the execution of JMMG’s Policies via Procedures. The VP shall report to the JMMG COO and dotted line to JMH COO (shared operational goals and complimentary incentives).
JMMG’s priority is to pursue the underlying community health mission by managing the complexity of the organization with its many stakeholders. The scope of services provided by JMMG includes direct clinical service staffing, management operations and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Manage outpatient staffing requests
- Oversee JMMG work standards
- Co-lead continuous process improvement efforts in the ambulatory setting
- Undergo Lean process management training
- Ensure operational excellence in fulfilling business obligations, quality of service delivery, human resource management, financial stewardship, and risk/compliance
- Work with JMH/JMHPN to maintain a productive and positive partnership
Qualifications
- MD/DO degree with current Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Palliative Care, or Endocrinology
- Active CA Medical License
- 5 years of leadership experience (strongly preferred)

Experience and Qualifications
- MD/DO degree with current Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Palliative Care, or Endocrinology
- Active CA Medical License
- 5 years of leadership experience (strongly preferred)
