VP – Academic Partnerships (Remote, East Coast preferred, USA)

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion of the LAB eN2 BRIDGE alliance in the US
• Serve as the company’s collaboration lead at leading universities
• Identify and prioritize therapeutic projects from academic partners
• Partner with internal teams to shape drug development plans
• Collaborate with institutional Technology Transfer Offices for project onboarding
• Ensure effective day-to-day partnership communication and alignment
• Provide strategic insights for the company’s academic alliances

Qualifications

• PhD or MD degree
• 12+ years experience in basic research and/or drug discovery within academia, biotech or pharma
• Strong track record in discovery of first-in-class therapeutics in metabolic diseases
• Familiarity with academic institutions and technology transfer processes
• Understanding of drug discovery and development risk management
• Proven ability to grow and manage external partnerships
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging scientific and business audiences
