You’ll build and oversee the full HR/volunteer system-creating tools, guiding strategy, and supporting team leads across the org. You’ll build what doesn't exist yet and guide others in making it last. What You’ll Do Design and launch a working HR department from the ground upBuild out volunteer role descriptions, onboarding flows, and compliance stepsLead interviews for other HR roles (Specialists, Recruiters, etc.)Ensure legal and ethical HR documentationGuide the full lifecycle recruitment → onboarding → exitWork closely with the President and executive teamTrack impact and advise on team culture and development You’re Great At Leading with strategy and clarityBuilding people systems that serve real needsUnderstanding compliance and documentationManaging a team of HR volunteersNavigating change, ambiguity, and growth Bonus if you Have HR Director or Senior Manager experienceAre familiar with nonprofit, youth development, or mission-driven organizationsCan create documents and systems from scratch Why Join Us?
