Outdoor Life Leadership empowers boys and young men from underserved communities through hands-on outdoor skills. From survival skills to leadership and disaster preparedness, our programs help participants build confidence, resilience, and real-world opportunities. Volunteers are the heart of our work mentoring, guiding, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Volunteer Support & Development Team
• Oversee volunteer onboarding and training
• Support volunteer communication and follow-up
• Help maintain the Volunteer Resource Hub
• Track volunteer progress and tasks
• Help team members stay organized and supported
• Report important volunteer updates to organizational leadership

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Good organization and follow-up
• Comfortable leading a virtual team
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to use email and online tools
• Willing to help build systems in a growing nonprofit
• Passion for helping others succeed
• Nonprofit or HR experience is helpful but not required
