About the role

Volunteer Registered Dietitian for Camp Leo Summer 2026 at Black Diamond Camp in Auburn, WA.

Responsibilities

- Support nutrition, diabetes management, and overall camper wellbeing. - Collaborate with other camp staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment. - Provide diabetes education and support to campers and their families.

Requirements

- Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in Washington State. - Interest in diabetes care and pediatric nutrition. - Experience working with children and/or individuals living with Type 1 diabetes preferred. - Comfortable working in a collaborative overnight camp environment. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Experience in diabetes education or pediatric nutrition. - Familiarity with Type 1 diabetes management and carbohydrate counting. - Passion for supporting children and families living with Type 1 diabetes. - Experience working in team-based or camp environments. - CDCES credential or interest in diabetes-focused care preferred.
