Volunteer Programs Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision of staff and volunteers including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and performance management.
• Lead daily operations of the department and enhance operational success.
• Identify, modify and implement creative strategies to recruit and/or engage sufficient volunteers to meet operational needs, support organizational changes, achieve objectives, comply with organizational directives, the Code of Federal Regulations and other regulatory requirements.
• Aid in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the department’s budget, goals and objectives.
• Consult with internal partners to develop and maintain volunteer recruitment and/or engagement plans and needs assessments. Ensure alignment of volunteer needs and national goals.
• Prepare internal partners to work with, monitor, and evaluate volunteer performance.
• Cook up and implement training and/or communications efforts as necessary.
• May lead programs and events related to volunteer services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Management Experience: Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
