Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assisting with the setup, serving, and cleanup of lunch program
- Providing support for activities and programs designed for adults age 50 and older
Volunteer Opportunities
- Teaching or leading a Special Interest class
- Sharing skills, knowledge, or hobbies with members of the community
Volunteer Hours
Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Essential Duties
- Communicate clearly and concisely (both verbally and in writing)
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions, policies, and procedures
- Work congenially with staff, patrons, and other volunteers
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience and knowledge of parks and recreation activities, and facilities
- Volunteers eighteen (18) years of age or older who are accepted for the assignment will be required to successfully complete a criminal background report
Supplemental Information
- Knowledge of City and department procedures, policies, and guidelines
- Ability to lift and move objects as needed
Time Commitment
3-5 hours per week, or as assigned

Weekday evenings and Weekend days
