About the role
The Volunteer Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting new volunteers joining YouVersion at Life.Church locations. This role involves coordinating onboarding processes, ensuring smooth integration, and providing ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate new volunteer onboarding processes, including training sessions and orientation materials.
- Manage volunteer schedules and ensure they are aligned with ministry needs.
- Oversee the distribution of necessary resources and equipment for new volunteers.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new volunteers as they integrate into their roles.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination among new volunteers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in event planning or volunteer management.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Communications, Event Management).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of volunteer management software (e.g., Volusion, SignUpGenius).
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with volunteer management software.

Pay
