Volunteer: Grant Writing & Proposal Development
About the role
The Satellite Archaeology Foundation is seeking a volunteer with nonprofit grant-writing experience to help us develop strong, reusable grant materials. As we begin pursuing foundation and grant funding more systematically, we need a strong core narrative that clearly communicates our mission, research priorities, organizational capabilities, expected impact, and funding needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a reusable grant proposal framework that can be adapted to multiple foundation and grant opportunities
- Refine our organizational narrative, statement of need, program descriptions, goals and outcomes, impact language, and supporting materials commonly required in grant applications
- Adapt these materials for one or more priority funding opportunities identified through our prospect research, where appropriate
Goals
Create a strong grant-writing foundation that allows us to respond more efficiently and consistently to future funding opportunities.
