Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify 10-15 grant and sponsorship prospects aligned with our mission, providing a calendar of deadlines and eligibility requirements.
- Develop a 'Grant Toolkit' or boilerplate language (Mission, Program Descriptions, Impact Statements) that can be reused for future applications.
- Draft one full grant proposal or a comprehensive Letter of Inquiry (LOI) for a priority prospect.
- Advise on a timeline for submission over the next 6-12 months.
Qualifications
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Understanding of nonprofit funding mechanisms and grant writing best practices.
- Experience in grant proposal development or similar professional experience.
- Knowledge of underrepresented college students and their needs.
