About the Role
This project supports RADIKAL’s Southern Expansion, transitioning from a localized pilot to a $10M regional infrastructure network across the Southern Peninsula of Haiti. The goal is to secure a "Blended Finance" stack—comprising grants, slow debt, and impact equity—to build the Camp Perrin Master Hub and launch the first 2,000 micro-franchisees.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify philanthropy, institutional donors (e.g., IDB Lab), and private impact funds.
- Draft high-stakes grant proposals, "Regional Fortress" investment teasers, and budget justifications.
- Coordinate with the executive team to refine the "Stability-as-a-Service" pitch.
- Provide "first loss" capital through grant funding to de-risk the $10M ecosystem for follow-on investors.
Schedule
Estimated hours: 5–10 hours per week. Duration: 6–12 months. This is a virtual (remote) position.
Requirements
- Fundraising strategy: Experience with blended finance or "multi-layer" capital stacks (grants + debt + equity).
- Technical writing: Ability to translate complex industrial operations and fintech metrics into compelling donor narratives.
- Relationship management: Proven ability to navigate the bureaucracy of large institutions (e.g., IDB).
- Analytical skills: Proficiency in interpreting financial models and social impact data to justify funding requests.
- 5+ years of experience in international development or a social enterprise environment.
Language Requirements
English; French.
