Volunteer: Google Ads Optimization
About the role
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We have an active Google Ad Grant, which Google requires us to actively manage and optimize to stay in compliance and keep the grant active. We're looking for a pro bono consultant with Google Ads expertise to review our account and help us get more value from this resource.
Responsibilities
- Review our account structure, campaigns, keywords, and ad copy to identify what's working well and what's holding performance back
- Recommend specific changes to improve click-through rate, conversions, and grant compliance
- Show one to two staff members how to apply the recommendations and monitor results going forward
Project outcome
By the end of this project, we'd like a clear picture of how our Google Ads account is performing and a set of specific improvements we can put into practice. This will help ensure the improvements stick after the engagement ends.
