Volunteer Coordinator - Winter Season
Position Summary
The Volunteer Coordinator assists the Races & Events Manager (or designated assistants) in executing events such as fundraising events, alpine racing, freestyle, snowboard, and mountain bike competitions. They coordinate volunteers for these events and competitions, which can include sanctioned international, national, divisional, collegiate, adaptive, high school, corporate, private, and club events.
Essential Duties
- Work closely with all departments throughout the Resort, including Facilities, Marketing, Accounting, Retail, IT, Grounds, Electricians, Village, Sign Shop, Food & Beverage, etc.
- Aid in the set-up and execution of registration, sponsor recognition, awards, and other event activities as needed per event.
- Follow Winter Park policies and procedures, applicable laws, and health and sanitation codes.
Job Requirements
- Extensive time required in the office.
- Thorough background in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, PC usage, and advanced content writing computer skills.
- Ability to ski on Black Diamond terrain throughout variable mountain conditions and weather.
- Hardworking and good interpersonal skills.

Wage
The base hourly pay range for this position is $18 - $22 DOE. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
