Responsibilities

  • Research and Identify Opportunities: Explore grant funding opportunities from various sources.
  • Proposal Writing: Prepare clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals.
  • Eligibility Verification: Ensure that the organization meets the eligibility criteria for each grant.
  • Supporting Documentation: Gather necessary supporting documents (financial reports, newsletters, etc.) for proposals.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with potential funders and foundations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of grant applications and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members.
  • Mission Alignment: Understand and align with Sync’s Christian faith and mission.
  • Timely Completion: Meet deadlines for grant submissions.

Requirements

  • Passion for Service: A commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Writing Skills: Proficient in writing clear and persuasive proposals.
  • Research Abilities: Ability to identify relevant grant opportunities.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other team members.
  • Understanding of Faith: Familiarity with Sync’s Christian faith and Statement of Faith.
