About the role
The LoopRoots Foundation is a rapidly growing nonprofit organization supporting justice-impacted individuals and families through various programs. We are currently seeking Volunteer Grant Writers to join our growing development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in researching grant opportunities
- Help draft grant proposals and letters of inquiry
- Support sponsorship and donor outreach
- Organize grant tracking and deadlines
- Collaborate with leadership and program teams
- Aid in foundation and corporate funding applications
Volunteer Requirements
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Passion for community impact and nonprofit work
- Prior grant writing experience is helpful but not required
About Our Mission
The LoopRoots Foundation supports justice-impacted individuals and families through programs focused on Transportation access, Workforce development, Transitional housing support, Food access initiatives, Reentry services, Community wellness and support programming.
