Volunteer: Board Recruitment Strategy for Key Roles

About the Role

We need a clear, actionable strategy to recruit members to our board of directors, focusing on filling several key leadership and skill-based roles. The volunteer will develop a written board recruitment strategy tailored to our organization's named key board roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop role descriptions and candidate profiles for each key board role.
• Recommend outreach channels and a prioritized sourcing approach.
• Outline a selection and interview process with suggested timeline milestones.
• Create a short onboarding/recruitment checklist for the board to implement the plan.

Requirements

• Expertise in Board Development.
• Ability to meet with our Founder/Executive Director for an initial meeting to determine documentation and policies needed for recruiting new board members.
