About the role
As a volunteer Advocacy Leader, you will build and lead the effort in your own community to restore constitutional governance and create a fair, democratic election system.
Responsibilities
- Defend the U.S. Constitution and stand up to the federal government's attack on our democracy
- Work with your own networks and relationships to organize in your community
- Organize and mobilize local officials to stop the authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law
- Learn from others in a small group of volunteers taking on similar roles in different states
Requirements
- Ready to organize in your own community as a Maryland resident
- No prior experience required, only drive and roots where you live
- Remote and self-paced role with personal support as you get started
Qualifications
- Strong initiative with guidance and support
- Ability to leverage personal networks and relationships
- Willingness to learn and adapt from others in the group
