About the role
As a volunteer Advocacy Leader, you build and lead the effort in your own community to help stop the authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law.
Responsibilities
- Defend the U.S. Constitution and stand up to the federal government's attack on our democracy
- Activate state and local officials to help restore constitutional governance
- Create a fair, democratic election system
- Draw on your own networks and relationships to organize in your community
- Work remotely and at your own pace
- Learn from and support other volunteers in the same role across different states
Requirements
- Drive and roots in your local community
- Open to learning and adapting to new strategies
- Willingness to engage with local officials and community members
Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
