About the role
As a volunteer Advocacy Leader, you build and lead the effort in your own community to help stop the authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law nationwide, starting with the proposed Restore the Constitution Act.
Responsibilities
- Draw on personal networks and relationships to identify key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Develop strategies to engage and mobilize community members around the Restore the Constitution Act
- Work with local officials to advocate for constitutional governance and fair elections
- Organize events and activities to raise awareness and support for the cause
- Collaborate with a small group of volunteers from different states to share best practices and support each other
Requirements
- Resident of Connecticut
- Drive and commitment to organizing in your own community
- No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and take initiative
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Interest in promoting constitutional governance and fair elections
