About the role

As a volunteer Advocacy Leader, you build and lead the effort in your own community to help stop the authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law nationwide, starting with the proposed Restore the Constitution Act.

Responsibilities

  • Draw on personal networks and relationships to identify key stakeholders and influencers in your community.
  • Develop strategies to engage and mobilize local residents to support constitutional governance and fair elections.
  • Work collaboratively with a small group of volunteers across different states, sharing best practices and supporting each other’s efforts.
  • Stay informed about local, state, and national developments that impact constitutional governance and fair elections.

Requirements

  • Be a New York resident.
  • Have initiative and a strong desire to make a difference in your community.
  • Be open to learning and adapting strategies based on feedback and experiences.
  • Be able to commit to the role on a self-paced, remote basis.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience is necessary; only a strong drive and roots in your community are required.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community.
  • Organizational and project management skills.
