Voice instructor needed in Odenton, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Odenton, MD area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Experience with remote teaching tools if necessary.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments.

Benefits

• Independent contractor status.
• Paid between $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate.
• No advertising, marketing, or billing responsibilities.

Pay

• $20-$30 per hour.

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
