Voice instructor needed in Baltimore, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Baltimore, MD area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Handle all advertising, marketing, and SEO work for bringing students in and handling billing.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Previous teaching experience, formal music training, a degree in music, or enrollment in a music program is a must.
• Wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel to students in the Baltimore, MD area if preferred.
• Experience with webcam lessons is optional but appreciated.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach from home or travel to students.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
