Voice instructor needed in Mohnton, PA

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Mohnton, PA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam (though most students prefer in-person).
• Experience setting up and running a successful online business (optional).

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and schedules.
• Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
