Voice instructor needed in Philadelphia, PA
About the role
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Philadelphia, PA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!
Responsibilities
- Teach voice lessons in the students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
- Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
- Keep in good communication with the office.
- Be organized and on time for all lessons.
Requirements
- Great with kids and love teaching.
- Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
Qualifications
- Flexible scheduling.
- Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
- Experience with online platforms for lesson delivery.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and schedules.
- Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Pay
You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.

COVID-19 Precautions
Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
