Voice instructor needed in Charlottesville, VA

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam.

Responsibilities

• Bring out the star in your students
• Teach voice lessons
• Set your own schedule
• Set your own curriculum/lesson plans
• Communicate with our office
• Be organized and on time for all lessons

Requirements

• Great with kids
• Loves teaching
• Previous teaching experience OR formal music training
• Professional performing experience

Qualifications

• Must be able to teach in-person or via webcam
• Wear a mask, sanitize hands, & practice social distancing when applicable due to COVID-19 precautions

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage lesson plans

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
