Voice instructor needed in Brooklyn, NY

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Brooklyn, NY area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and curriculum/lesson plans.
• Be available to travel to students in the Brooklyn, NY area if preferred.
• Be organized and on time for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Keep in good communication with our office.
• Have one of the following: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable, depending on student preference.

Skills

• Ability to teach from various locations.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
