Voice instructor needed in Brookline, MA

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Brookline, MA area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in the students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Be organized and on time for all lessons.
• Communicate regularly with the office.

Requirements

• Great with kids and love teaching.
• Must have either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible scheduling.
• Ability to teach in-person or via webcam.
• Experience with online platforms for lesson delivery.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple students and schedules.
• Knowledge of music theory and performance.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
