Voice/Data/Video Technician

About the role

CRT is hiring an experienced Voice/Data/Video Technician for the Findlay, OH area. This is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite position at an industrial facility. (This is not an IT position.)

Responsibilities

• Perform essential duties related to voice, data, and video systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communicate effectively in English with customers, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors, suppliers, and contractors
• Provide strong customer service
• Maintain organizational skills and attention to detail
• Use common hand and power tools proficiently
• Work at heights and climb vertical ladders
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly

Requirements

• BICSI certification
• Valid Driver’s License or Commercial Driver’s License where applicable
• Demonstrated ability to work in various physical conditions, including outdoors, wet/humid environments, high places, and exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and weather conditions
• Ability to navigate job site locations and commute to field sites
• Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently required to stand; occasionally required to sit
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to talk, hear, and smell

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical and electrical parts, high/precarious places, dust, fumes, airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions
• Extended exposure to sunlight, cold, and heat
• Risk of electrical shock and vibration
• Moderate to loud noise levels
