About the role

LivaNova Neuromodulation is seeking a Territory Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is based in Western Washington + Wenatchee and involves extensive business travel.

Responsibilities

  • Engage onsite with epileptologists, neurologists, and neuroscientists to provide the latest therapy information and lead to patient identifications.
  • Uncover barriers to VNS Therapy adoption and develop plans to address and overcome these barriers.
  • Build and maintain productive professional relationships with customers.
  • Create and execute cross-functional physician targeting plans to achieve quarterly goals and long-term strategy.
  • Educate referring physicians about treatment gaps, quality measures, and available LivaNova resources.
  • Conduct on-site product demonstrations and provide training to fellows and residents.
  • Provide ongoing post-implant education to staff, patients, and families.
  • Demonstrate outstanding product and therapy knowledge, and challenge providers to change treatment selection.
  • Manage technical inquiries and provide solutions to questions or problems.
  • Offer surgical case coverage, follow-up support, and troubleshooting for VNS Therapy in non-Key Account CEC’s and community accounts.
  • Work with buying managers to negotiate pricing, manage inventory, and secure orders.
  • Maintain account performance, identify issues, and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Participate in professional outreach programs and support DRE education programs.
  • Lead weekly territory team meetings and physician targeting meetings to review progress.

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic with a resilient results orientation.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of successful selling experience in a medical field, preferably in a consultative role.
  • Proven ability to foster solid, value-based physician relationships and interact with patients in a clinical environment.
  • Solid process orientation, resource management, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Intellectual capacity to interpret trends and data, translating information into actions and improvements.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with the aptitude to work autonomously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, evidence of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with customers and patients at all levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to LivaNova's mission.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, nursing, allied health, or business.
