About the role
LivaNova Neuromodulation is a pioneer in VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) Therapy for Drug-Resistant Epilepsy (DRE) and Difficult-to-Treat Depression (DTD). The company serves a market of 3 million people in the U.S. with drug-resistant epilepsy, aiming to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives and manage daily territory operations.
- Engage with epileptologists, neurologists, and neuroscientists to promote VNS Therapy.
- Identify and address barriers to VNS Therapy adoption.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with customers.
- Create and execute physician targeting plans to advance DRE care.
- Educate referring physicians and clinic staff about treatment gaps and available resources.
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations and provide post-implant education.
- Manage patient interactions, including obtaining PIQ and PAF.
- Negotiate pricing and inventory management with buying managers.
- Maintain account performance and identify risks.
- Participate in professional outreach programs and support patient education.
- Lead weekly meetings to review progress and strategy.
- Implement a targeted call plan and complete administrative tasks.
- Represent the company ethically and professionally.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of successful selling experience in a medical field, preferably in a consultative role.
- Demonstrated aptitude and success in fostering solid, value-based physician relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills and evidence of teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with customers and patients at all levels.
- BS/BA degree, preferably in life sciences, nursing, allied health, or business.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $85,000- $100,000 + commission. Pay ranges may vary by location.
