VMware Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative technology solutions provider that delivers cutting‑edge services across various industries, enabling digital transformation for its clients.

Responsibilities

• Secure images for ESXi and Veeam Server (Linux)
• Configure OPC ESXi L3 local connectivity to OCC ESXi / Veeam hardware
• Set up remote access for servers and storage
• Install VMware ESXi on new swing hardware in the OCC subnet
• Build Veeam server as a local backup server
• Focus on VMware work around data centers, including regular site visits

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VMware Engineer
• Strong knowledge of ESXi and Veeam technologies
• Experience with Linux server administration
• Ability to configure and manage remote access for servers and storage
• Willingness to travel to data centers (2‑3 visits every two weeks)
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
