About the role
The Visitor Information Program Assistant II position is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and assisting the traveling public at the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airports at Keahole. They also provide information of interest to visitors to encourage travel to the major islands in the Hawaiian chain, and perform various clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Basic experience demonstrating the ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, and a high degree of verbal skill
- General experience demonstrating patience, tact, and an even temper in meeting and dealing with others
- Knowledge of one of the following languages in addition to English: JAPANESE, MANDARIN, KOREAN, TAGALOG, HAWAIIAN, SAMOAN, SPANISH, FRENCH
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience demonstrating the ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, and a high degree of verbal skill
- One year of work experience demonstrating patience, tact, and an even temper in meeting and dealing with others
- Knowledge of one of the following languages in addition to English: JAPANESE, MANDARIN, KOREAN, TAGALOG, HAWAIIAN, SAMOAN, SPANISH, FRENCH
- Valid driver's license

$3,471 to $4,388 per month (SR-10) level II
