About the role
The immediate vacancy is located at the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole. The Visitor Information Program Assistant I is responsible for greeting, welcoming, and assisting the traveling public, providing information of interest to visitors, and performing various clerical duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome the traveling public at the airport
- Provide information of interest to visitors to encourage travel to the major islands in the Hawaiian chain
- Perform various clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic Experience: Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, and a high degree of verbal skill
- General Experience: One (1) year of work experience demonstrating patience, tact, and an even temper in meeting and dealing with others
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license at the time of appointment

Pay
$3,266 to $4,139 per month (SR-08, Steps C-I) Level I
Schedule
Shift work: Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
