Visitor Assistant | Guest Services

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome all visitors to GFS and provide assistance throughout the park
• Serve as an ambassador for Grounds For Sculpture to promote an inclusive and accessible experience for all guests, members, donors, and volunteers
• Enforce safety and security guidelines in all public spaces
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process ticket and membership sales
• Aid in Museum Shop sales, including product recommendations and merchandise knowledge
• Answer visitor questions at the desk, around the park, by phone, and via live chat
• Direct tour and school groups to exhibitions and events
• Support event setup and assist with day-of details and logistics
• Help manage traffic flow and parking
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Spanish fluency is encouraged
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
• Proven experience with database and point-of-sale systems is preferred
• At least one year of relevant experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is required
