Visiting Assistant Professor, Electrical Computer Engineering

Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants to teach one or two semesters in the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering as a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor for Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027. There is an opportunity to apply for a full-time Assistant Professor position for Fall 2026.

About the role

• Teach Robotics Engineering for first-year engineering students
• Teach Electrical or Computer Engineering courses such as Digital Logic and Programming
• Standard teaching load is 16 credit hours per semester for Fall 2026
• Extension into Spring 2027 may be considered based on coursework availability, performance, and mutual interest

Requirements

• Master’s degree in the appropriate area of Engineering (required)
• Ph.D. degree in the appropriate area of Engineering (preferred)

Pay

Salary range for this position is between $34,000 and $38,000 for one semester. Specific pay will be determined based on relevant factors.
