Visiting Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering

Position: Visiting Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering Department: School of Engineering Status: Full Time This position will teach 3 electrical engineering courses each semester (currently expected to be ENGR 260, Circuits; ELEC 395, Digital System Design; and ELEC 450 Telecommunications Principles, for the Fall 2026 semester. ELEC 375, Signals and Systems; ELEC 480, Artificial Intelligence; and ELEC 490, Actuators and Sensors for the Spring 2026 Semester.) Essential Duties And Responsibilities Review course materials and approaches and implement effectively.Meet classes as scheduled.Meet deadlines as established by the School of Engineering and Campbell University.Evaluate and assess student performance.Post grades accurately and respond promptly to grade determination. This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Requirements/Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university is required.Teaching experience is preferred.
