Visiting Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering

About the Role

This full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position will teach three electrical engineering courses each semester. For Fall 2026, the expected courses are:

• ENGR 260, Circuits
• ELEC 395, Digital System Design
• ELEC 450, Telecommunications Principles

For Spring 2026, the expected courses are:

• ELEC 375, Signals and Systems
• ELEC 480, Artificial Intelligence
• ELEC 490, Actuators and Sensors

Responsibilities

• Review course materials and approaches and implement them effectively.
• Meet classes as scheduled and adhere to deadlines established by the School of Engineering and Campbell University.
• Evaluate and assess student performance, post grades accurately, and respond promptly to grade determinations.
• Maintain accuracy, honesty, integrity, and alignment with the Christian mission of Campbell University.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned, with or without notice.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university (required).
• Teaching experience (preferred).
