About the role
Department: Communication Sciences and Disorders. Academic Staff, Terminal (Fixed Term) position.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Supervise graduate student clinicians in the University Speech-Language and Hearing Clinics
- Advise undergraduate students
- Perform committee service
- Direct graduate and undergraduate student research
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related field
- Candidates who are ABD with relevant professional and/or teaching experience will also be considered
Qualifications
- Experience teaching: Clinical Procedures and Experience (undergraduate), Language Appraisal & Intervention (undergraduate), Aphasia (graduate), Observation & Discussion (undergraduate), Counseling Issues in CSD (graduate)
- Prior clinical supervision experience
- Doctorate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a closely related field
Pay
Academic year base salary: $60,000.00. Actual pay determined based on number of days on contract and prorated by FTE.
