About the role

The Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina seeks applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track visiting assistant professor position in Public Administration to begin August 16, 2022. This is a full-time appointment, renewable for a second year based on Dean’s approval, satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and the availability of funding.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Public Administration, Political Science, or a closely related field of study required by the start date of appointment.
• Exceptions may be made for those who have successfully defended their dissertation prospectus and are actively working on completing their dissertation.

Pay

$65,000

Schedule

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• 9-month academic year (August 16, 2022 – May 15, 2023)
