About the role
This is a full-time, benefited 9-month faculty appointment responsible for teaching in the JD curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach required first-year and/or upper level doctrinal courses.
- Teach in residential and/or hybrid JD modalities as assigned.
- Develop course materials, syllabi, and assessments consistent with law school policies and ABA Standards.
- Provide timely and substantive feedback to students.
- Maintain regular office hours and availability for academic support.
- Engage in instructional practices appropriate to hybrid and online learning environments when applicable.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution.
- Experience teaching in legal education or significant practice experience relevant to assigned courses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to use Canvas, a learning management system.
