Virtual Primary Care Physician

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Virtual Primary Care Physician to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide virtual primary care services, delivering timely clinical assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic care through telehealth. The physician will play a key leadership role within a primary care team while helping to ensure high-quality patient experiences, strong clinical outcomes, and effective collaboration across care functions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Consult with and treat patients via telehealth, providing clinical diagnoses and therapeutic services
• Take a leadership role on a designated primary care team
• Maintain timely and accurate medical records
• Exceed quality standards for metrics and patient satisfaction
• Assist in the supervision of APRNs as permitted by state regulations
• Participate in committees and quality improvement processes

Qualifications

• MD or DO with ABMS Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Board certification maintained for at least two years
• Minimum of four years of post-residency experience in primary care
• Telehealth experience preferred
• Multiple state licenses preferred
• Ability to maintain medical staff privileges and DEA licensure

Pay

Compensation: $203,800 – $339,600 annually

Dedicate 40 clinical hours per week, including 35 hours of patient care
