Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist
About the role
Join the largest provider of outsourced commercial solutions to the healthcare industry and take part in leading the transformation of healthcare. As a Virtual Sales Specialist, you will provide outbound marketing, disease state identification and education, and inbound customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical environment. Customers include physicians, healthcare providers, and healthcare clinic personnel.
The Virtual Sales Specialist implements the client's marketing plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers. You will plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the assigned territory according to a plan of action, while administering territory information and complying with reporting and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers to deliver effective sales presentations.
- Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff using educational resources and support materials.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with HCPs and office staff.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree minimum required.
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a history of documented success.
- Expert selling skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong preference for 1+ years of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience.
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts, with the ability to quickly learn and convey complex product information to healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member while managing multiple tasks across multiple systems.
