Responsibilities
- Developing case strategy
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings and motions
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Representing clients in hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials/arbitrations
- Managing administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation matters
- Supervising and mentoring attorneys and legal staff
- Cooking closely with partners, associates, paralegals, and shared support teams
- Maintaining proactive communication with the PEO client, its customers, and the insurance carrier
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Seven or more years of employment law and litigation experience
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Experience working independently in a remote environment
- Experience with Professional Employer Organizations
- Experience managing high-volume matters for a large client
- Experience handling EPLI claims and carrier relationships

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $190,000 - $205,000, with actual base pay determined by factors such as the selected billable hours target.
