Responsibilities

  • Developing case strategy
  • Drafting and reviewing pleadings and motions
  • Conducting and defending depositions
  • Representing clients in hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials/arbitrations
  • Managing administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation matters
  • Supervising and mentoring attorneys and legal staff
  • Cooking closely with partners, associates, paralegals, and shared support teams
  • Maintaining proactive communication with the PEO client, its customers, and the insurance carrier

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Seven or more years of employment law and litigation experience
  • Active bar membership in good standing
  • Experience working independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with Professional Employer Organizations
  • Experience managing high-volume matters for a large client
  • Experience handling EPLI claims and carrier relationships

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $190,000 - $205,000, with actual base pay determined by factors such as the selected billable hours target.
