Virtual Office Counsel Attorney

About the role

Fisher Phillips, one of the oldest and largest labor and employment law firms representing management, has an opportunity for employment attorneys with at least five years of experience to join our team as Counsel in our Virtual Office.

Responsibilities

• Handling administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation for a variety of firm clients, including those with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI).
• Working under the guidance of partners and alongside other skilled attorneys and paralegals.
• Conducting efficient, high-quality legal work with a more flexible billable hours target and work/life balance.
• Providing exceptional legal services without the burden of non-billable hour demands.

Requirements

• Expertise in handling employment law matters and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• At least five years of experience in employment law and litigation.
• Active bar membership in good standing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience practicing in a law firm.
• Experience with matters covered by EPLI.
• Bar admission in California.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $135,000 – $170,000, with actual base pay determined by factors such as the selected billable hours target, experience, skills, and qualifications.
