Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the client base.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry.
  • Provide excellent client service, understanding and addressing client objectives.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the legal practice, including budgeting, billing, and financial planning.
  • Maximize profitability and ensure financial sustainability.
  • Lead and manage a small staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team is aligned with business goals.
  • Apply in-depth legal knowledge to handle complex real estate transactions.
  • Ensure legal compliance and excellence in all aspects of real estate law.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the legal practice.
  • Establish a strong brand presence in the local market.
  • Engage in networking activities to build connections within the legal community, real estate industry, and local business community.
  • Attend industry events and actively participate in relevant professional associations.
  • Introduce innovative approaches, services, or technologies to stay competitive in the market.
  • Adapt to changing legal landscapes and client needs.
  • Identify and manage legal and business risks associated with real estate transactions and the operation of the legal practice.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, staying informed about developments in real estate law, business trends, and legal practice management.
  • Hold oneself and reinforce high ethical standards in legal practice and business operations.
  • Understand and apply the legal aspects of real estate transactions, including contracts, financing, and closings.
  • Master title examination, title insurance, and resolving title issues.
  • Efficiently manage time to handle various tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritize activities to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster collaboration within the small staff, encouraging teamwork and positive communication.
  • Maintain a strong client-centric approach, ensuring that all services provided align with client needs and expectations.
  • Solicit and respond to client feedback to continually improve service delivery.
  • Engage with the local community, participating in community events, and contributing to the positive reputation of the legal practice.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. Three years practicing real estate law.
  • Core Competencies: Business Strategy, Time Management, Adaptability, Innovative Thinking, Risk Management, Continuous Learning, Ethical Practice, Collaboration and Team Building, Client-Centric Approach.
