About the role
Licensed physicians providing high-quality virtual care in a telemedicine setting, with potential in-person hybrid options.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient assessments, reviews, and treatment via telehealth platforms.
- Build compassionate, patient-centered relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for addiction, excluding other controlled substances.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain thorough medical documentation for continuity.
- Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided).
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person care.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, scheduled in advance.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence.
- Comfort with telemedicine technology and EMRs (training provided).
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if needed.
