Virtual Care Physician

About the role

Licensed physicians providing high-quality virtual care in a telemedicine setting, with potential in-person hybrid options.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient assessments, reviews, and treatment via telehealth platforms.
• Build compassionate, patient-centered relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for addiction, excluding other controlled substances.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain thorough medical documentation for continuity.
• Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person care.
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, scheduled in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine technology and EMRs (training provided).
• At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if needed.
