Virtual Care Physician

About the role

Licensed physicians are sought to provide virtual, patient-centered care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and review medical histories
• Order and interpret lab tests
• Prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine)
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Stay updated on medical advancements
• Deliver compassionate telehealth services

Requirements

• Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, states with willingness to obtain additional licenses
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs
• At least one DEA certification
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly over four days with scheduled advance planning
