Virtual Care Physician

About the Role

Seeking dedicated physicians licensed in multiple states to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction, emergency, or urgent care. This role offers flexibility to work from anywhere, with a focus on patient assessments, medical history reviews, medication prescribing (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaboration with a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate virtual patient care and assessments.
• Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and guide proper usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay updated on medical practices.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, including CA, FL, NC, PA, and TX.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person care settings.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
• DEA certification.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses; assistance provided.
