Virtual Care Physician

About the role

A licensed physician is sought to provide virtual, patient-centered care across multiple states, primarily focusing on addiction treatment, weight management, and telehealth services. The role offers flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional virtual care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine) and provide guidance on their use.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least three, ideally five, US states, including CA, FL, NC, PA, and TX.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (support provided).
• At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if required.
• Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).

Schedule

Physicians should be available for a minimum of 15 hours weekly, working remotely on a flexible schedule.
