About the role
This role is looking for candidates with a proven sales background and a strong track record of achieving results. Essential duties include facilitating the sale of rental units, actively selling rental units, utilizing computer programs to track rental inventory, greeting guests, communicating with staff, and interacting professionally with colleagues and customers.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the sale of cabanas and other rental units to our guests at The Pool
- Actively sell rental units to interested guests
- Utilize computer programs to track rental inventory
- Graciously greet guests and escort them to their rental, ensuring complete satisfaction from start to finish
- Communicate with staff to ensure guests are greeted, served, and taken care of in a timely manner
- Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Previous experience in Hosting/Sales positions preferred
- Previous experience in high volume outlets preferred
- Good communications skills and professionalism required when dealing with guests, co-workers, and management
- Ability to work with interruptions and perform multiple tasks in high-pressure situations
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to accurately communicate
- A high level understanding of interpersonal skills to productively deal with business contacts and team members at all levels of the company
- Possess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills
- Has the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, clients, and general public
- Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a calm, professional manner
- Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills are a must
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- Dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external staff
- Trusted and seen as a truthful individual who is highly respectful of others
- Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, and appropriate communications and presents information in a concise and understandable format

Skills
- Analytical skills to keep cashier bank, money handling accounted for at all times
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum one year’s experience in sales or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Certificates and Licenses
- Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, and reaching overhead during the duration of their shift
- Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 10lbs or less frequently
- The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet
- The team member will constantly have repetitive use of their dominant hand, occasional use of their non-dominant hand, and constant light grasping motions
- The team member will have frequent use of firm/strong grasping motion
- Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required
- Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision
Work Environment
- Work performed consistently indoors and occasionally outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others
- Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts confined areas around computer equipment
- Team Member may be around flame/heat generated devices
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
- Team Member may be exposed to extreme heat/cold, vibrations, slippery surfaces, odor, and/or secondhand smoke
